I am a professional screen printer working out of New York City. I can print on paper and textiles – from business cards to fine art serigraphs to t-shirts and dresses.
I have worked the past four years printing with artists and musicians such as Molly Crabapple, Kim Boekbinder, Amanda Palmer, Coilhouse, Glass Houses Press and The Cellar Door Sound. I can work from design to finish or take your existing image, separate it into printable films and produce your run of gorgeous silk screened items. My work includes sampling fashion pieces, small run (>500 unit) t-shirts for bands, large posters and small, hand embellished art prints.
My rates vary depending on the size of the print, the number of screens, the material I’m printing on and the ink I use. I can print pantone matched colours or in sparkly metallics, flat colours or clear gloss spots and I’ve hand-flocked items with glue and holographic glitters. I handle ordering t-shirts and other textiles wholesale, or you can have your items delivered to my studio in Queens
Beginning costs for tshirt printing start at $2/pass, 20 shirts minimum. This does not includes the cost of t-shirt stock. I have access to ordering anything from my standard inexpensive but well-cut basic tees from Tultex to American Apparel or any specialty brand.
There is a one-time screen burning fee of $30 for a ~9×13″ image. Additional colours are $1.50 each.
A 25×19″ 1 colour poster print starts at $5/ea, 10 print minimum with a screen burning fee of $40. This includes 110 lb paper stock. Additional colours vary depending on the print.
My rates will change depending on the project and the costs of the substrate I’m printing on, but I try to be very flexible! If you have an image that needs conversion to a screenprintable image – such as help setting up halftones, converting an image to spot colours, etc, I’m available for assisting in this as well.
